Angel Falls is great, only one drawback it's way out there. It will take either a lot of cash or a lot of time and nerve to reacht the falls, but when you get there you are truly rewarded. With the current exchange rates of the Bolivar against the US dollar (Jun 04) it is relatively cheap compared to what fantastic experience it is to see the highest fall in the world. Chartering a plane gives you a unique birds-eye view of the falls, no less impressive (more, if anything!) than the view from the bottom.
Angel Falls is the worlds highest waterfall ( 3,212 ft (979 m) . It's 15 times higher than pityful Niagara. It is so high that during the dry season the cascade can evaporate into mist before it reaches bottom.
The falls take their name after an American pilot who sort of landed here (it was kind of a crash).
