Amazon Ecovagabond Lodge is designed in the typical thatched-roofed house style of the area and is surrounded by beautiful rainforest in a pristine setting that overlooks the Amazon River. The accommodation is very simple. It's set in a rustic and warm environment with no electricity or running water. Kerosene lanterns light up the lodge at night, and you bathe like the locals do, with water collected in great buckets, and pouring it over you with a bowl. You can always jump in the creek for a refreshing swim when the rainy season floods the forest. There are tropical fruit trees at the lodge, which you can try if they are in season.

Canoe across the Amazon River, hike along beautiful rainforest trails, and visit nearby communities. Enjoy traditional meals with neighbours. Doña Angela welcomes travellers to the warmth of her home and invites you to try her cooking over a wood burning stove.
