No roads or railways connect Iquitos, deep in the Amazon basin, to the rest of Peru. The airport in Iquitos provides easy access from Lima. There are several airlines and several daily flights from Lima to Iquitos. Direct flights take about 1 hour 40 minutes. We suggest you make an early morning flight reservation to Iquitos, and a late afternoon or evening return flight reservation to Lima, that way you'll make the best of your stay with us. We welcome you at the airport and take care of all transfers and transportation.
To get to EcoVagabond Lodge from Iquitos, we embark on a river bus for a three our navigation down the Amazon River. Fast boats take an hour to return to Iquitos for your flight back to Lima. We are easy to get to from Iquitos, but far enough to give you an authentic roots experience of the Amazon and life in the rainforest.
