We can arrange airport pickup by taxi for R$50 (R$60 after 21.00). Otherwise take the Praca da Se (via Barra) bus outside the arrivals building it costs R$5 and runs every 20 mins. It takes about 1 hour depending on traffic. Ask the driver to let you off at Farol da Barra. We are on the first street on the right after the bus-stop.
If arriving at the bus station either take a taxi outside (approx R$25) or cross over the footbridge to the Iguatemi Shopping Center. Take a Praca da Se (via Farol da Barra) bus for R$3. It takes about 45 mins depending on traffic. Same instructions as airport bus.
