Urca Hostel (Hostel) -

It's really easy to get to Urca Hostel. Just follow one of the directions below and you won't get lost.
The International Airport Tom Jobim (alson know as Galeão) is located outside the town (around 35 minutes car ride from us), and we assume it's going to be your arrival point since it's the only airport with international arrivals. From there you'll have three ways to get to us. They are:
1. By Taxi Cab - There are lot's of taxi cab services at the airport lobby. You problably won't need to find the companies booths, cause the drivers themselves or service's staff will come to you offering a ride as soon as you get out from the arrival gates. Make sure you'll get a licensed Taxi Cab and we strongly recommend you to set up the fares before you get into the car. They charge around R$40,00 to get you to Urca District, so, if they try to ask for more than that, try to lower that price as much as you can. Just ask the driver to get you to Avenida João Luis Alves, number 250 at Urca and you'll be here in half an hour.
2. By Bus - If you want to come by bus you'll have to take one to Alvorada at the airport's exit gate. It costs around R$5,00 and the bus line is called Real. Once inside the bus, ask the driver to stop at Praia do Flamengo (Flamengo's Beach) where you will switch to the bus line number 107 - Urca/Central. It costs R$2,00 and you will stay on it util the last bus stop wich is less then 50 meters away from Urca Hostel. You just have to cross the street and look forward the building number 250.
3. By Urca Hostel's Special Airport Transfers - For the airport transfer a R$70,00 fee will be charged. To get the airport transfer all the traveller must do is inform about it's flight's number, airline company and arrival time when booking a room with us. There will be someone from our staff waiting for you whenever you get here at the arrival gate. Transfers back to the Airport is R$ 60,00.
