By bus: from the Central Terminal (TICEN), located across from the Public Market (Mercado Público), take any bus heading to TICAN, a satellite terminal. From there, switch to bus #260 - Cachoeira, #265 - Ponta das Canas or #266 - Praia Brava. Show the driver the hotel name on a piece of paper so he knows where to let you off (it is unlikely he will understand any language other than Portuguese - maybe Spanish). This last leg should take about 5-8 minutes. Call us if you get lost, we'll rescue you. :)
Tip: get a tourist card (Cartão Passe Rápido Turista) at TICEN and save 20% on each trip. You are also entitled to one free transfer per trip with it. The card itself costs R$3,00 and you can add credit to it at any terminal. Any unused credit is refundable, so you got nothing to lose.
