Santa Cruz is a tropical city, 12 hours from the city of Cochabamba by Bus and 50 minutes by plane, there are two main airlines - one is LLoyd Areo Boliviano (LAB) the other is "Areosul".

The adventage of going by bus is that you enjoy the scenery, from mountains to jungle, one stop is in 4 hours in the area called el "Chapare", where you stop for lunch, the only thing I did not enjoy was the bus stop after 4 long hours, which I did not appreciate. Santa Cruz itself is the fasted growing city of Bolivia, rich oil reserves, agriculture, cattle breeding and timber.
