Altos del Sur Hostel is located on the Piltriquitron Hill slope, on the way to Bosque Tallado and a mountain refuge, surrounded by a vast native forest, with streams and offering a panoramic view of the Cordillera de los Andes. Atmosphere is warm, friendly and quiet. Rooms are wide, light and comfortable.

El Bolson is a small mountain city located at the southeast of Rio Negro province in the Argentine Andean Patagonia. It is situated in a valley with forests, clear rivers, lakes, waterfalls and meadows, and surrounded by high mountains with snow-covered peaks. The vast Cordillera de los Andes is located west El Bolson, bordering Chile. El Bolsón has been declared " Ecological Town" and "No Nuclear Area".

Sport/adventure activities offered: rafting, canoeing, dry-fly fishing, diving, cross-country skiing, horse riding, trekking, paragliding, aviation, among others; and also a variety of cultural activities like theatre, painting and sculpture exhibitions.

Places to be visited: mountain refuges, Bosque Tallado, Rio Azul, Cabeza del Indio, Cascada Escondida, handmade beer and organic dairy product plants, Lago Pueblo and others. You can also visit a popular regional fair where local crafts and handmade food are offered.
