Set in a stunning beachfront location with magic views and sunsets, Moana Lodge is 20 minutes by car North of Wellington. It is 25 minutes by commuter train with a station pick up available on request.
There is a warm seafront lounge, a cosy dining room, private(but not ensuite) showers and toilets, very comfy beds and a large farmhouse kitchen provides excellent self catering facilities.

Although a newcome to the Hostelworld site, Moana Lodge has been the top BBH rated hostel in Wellington region for 8 consecutive years.

There's swimming, sailing, kayaking, fishing, golf and diving and a short walk along the beachfront to great cafes, the village shops, medical centre and the railway station.
There is plenty of free parking next to the hostel as well.
