By car south from Taupo: Follow the main street, which is Fenton Street, to the lakefront. Turn left onto Whakaue Street then turn right at round-about onto Lake Road and proceed straight through a second round-about (Lake Road). Continue up Lake Road to number 37 - 45 and you will find The Lake House Hotel on your right-hand side.
By car north from Auckland: Turn left off Fairy Springs Road at major intersection on to Lake Road. Continue along Lake Road until another set of lights, turn left at these lights. Continue up Lake Road a little way until number 37 - 45 where you will find The Lake House Hotel on your left-hand side, just before the village green and lakefront.
