By car from Picton (Inter-island ferry from Wellington) and Blenheim:
As you come into Nelson follow the signs to Richmond via Tahunanui. You will be driving along State Highway 6 direction Motueka, Westport, Collingwood which runs along the edge of the Waimea Estuary. When you get to the roundabout towards the end of the estuary, follow the signs to Richmond, turning left and then immediately right at the two roundabouts. Drive straight over the next roundabout (fruit and vegetable market on the right). You are now on Salisbury Road. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the roundabout at the BP station. Drive straight through the roundabout and follow the road around to the right until you come to the next roundabout. Turn left into Wensley Road. Kershaw House is at number 10 on the right-hand side of the road behind the big hedge about 20 metres from the roundabout.
