Sydney Backpackers/Sydney Youth Hostel is a purpose built Boutique Hostel
We offer:
- Rooms to suit 2 to 16 people
- 2 & 4 bed rooms* (limited number)
- Very large rooms of 20sqm to 65sqm with 3.5-meter ceilings. The largest rooms for the number of people we know of in Sydney; the beds are state of the art with the most comfortable mattresses.

- Fresh laundered white sanitized linen, blankets, mattress protectors, pillows and pillowcases included in the room rate.

- Each room has a TV, fridge and individual padlocked security lockers. Padlocks are supplied and are included in the room rate.
- Rooms have climate controlled ducted air-conditioning & Heating.
- All rooms have DVD Players
- There's a self-catering BBQ on our roof terrace
- Activities can be arranged such as board games (monopoly etc), karaoke, film nights, etc. Drinks machine.

- 24-hour video surveillance for building and fire exits.
BUILDING LOCATION
Probably the best location in Sydney City.
The premises are located in the centre of the City in a very safe and clean area. We are located 150 metres from Sydney Town Hall. We are 30 Meters to Town Hall Railway Station. Wilmot Street runs between George Street and Pitt Street opposite Hoyts Cinema Complex in George Street.
Coles supermarket is 30 meters from the hostel and provides a full range of meats, fruit, vegetables and all other cooking items.
All major take-away food outlets also adjoin the Hostel Building.
Sydney is a big City and it can take quiet some time to get around if you are not in the heart of things near all the major attractions and icons. Make sure you don't get mislead about how far it is to the City.

Sydney's nightlife is second to none, with cinemas, theatres, pubs and nightclubs to keep you permanently entertained, all of which are close by.
You can practically fall out of bed into Sydney's reliable public transport system, with buses and trains right at your door. You are also only a short bus ride away from the ever-popular Bondi Beach.
Sydney Airport is only 9km by direct bus or rail link.
We are also down the road from some of Sydney's most historic tourist attractions, museums, galleries, libraries and our world famous Opera House.
Hungry? Surrounded by McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell to name but a few, you won't be hungry for long!
If arriving by plane at Sydney Airport (domestic or international) take the Train A$12.80 one way. Get off at Town Hall Station (ask the ticket clerk to show you the 'George & Wilmot Street¡¯ exit. Star Bar, Hoyts Cinemas are on the corner). We are 30 meters from there. The Train is 12 Minutes from the airport.
If arriving by Bus at the central bus depot walk up George Street 5 Blocks towards the Opera House you will see McDonald's & Star Bar. That is the corner of Wilmot Street and we are 30 meters from there.
REMARK:A key, padlock, linen and blanket deposit of AUD$30.00 per person is
required. This will also be charged on your credit card and a refund of
AUD$30.00 in cash will be given back to you on checkout on return of those
items.
