As you are on the Ferry coming accross to Magnetic Island. Look Left. You will see the picturesque resort in its own little part of Paradise!!!
PASSENGER FERRY
The ferry leaves from Townsville about 12 times a day. This trip costs $26 return. When you get to the island, jump on the Magnetic Island bus and tell the driver you want express to Base Backpackers - we are only 2 minutes away.
CAR FERRY
The car ferry is only a 2 minute drive from the base Townsville. When you arrive at Nelly Bay Harbour turn left, past the supermarket. When you are driving along the road next to the beach, you will see the resort at the end of the stretch. You will recognise it as our nearest neighbour is 1.2km away.
