Should you arrive by air, there are two options for the twenty minute drive into the City.
The airport shuttle bus is $12.00 one way, or $20.00 return. Taxis are approx. $35 weekdays and $40 weekends. Both will drop you off at Central City Backpackers.
If arriving by bus from within Tasmanian - the Transit Center is 3 blocks from the Central City Backpackers, straight down Collins Street (towards the City), or the Brisbane Street Terminal is straight down Elizabeth Street, and turn right after the mall.
