Nombre de Dios is not very big, nor very exciting. It used to be the staring point of the "old Panama canal" which wasn't a canal but a route by small rivers and small paths to transport things from the Carribean to the Pacific.
Now it is a laid back place on the Carribean coast with a distinct Rasta atmosphere. After this it becomes hard to follow the road along the coast to go to Portobelo the last port of call before Colombia.
