The flight from Port-au-Prince to Les Cayes is too convenient to miss. But, by bus, the road trip from the capital nice for sight seeing. From Les Cayes on the newly paved road, Port Salut is a 40 minute ride. 'Tap-taps' are available on a limited basis. The rule is to go early, as they stop running by early afternoon. Just ask where the 'Port Salut Station' is.
The Port Salut Beach House Bar & Grill is just 300 meters past the Point Sable Beach on the sea-side of the road. You can't miss the signs!
