Deep within the majestic and imposing Low subtropical cloud forest is 'The Frog Hostel' a mystical ecological lodge at 1600 m above sea level Here you will enjoy the complete peace and harmony of the ecosystem that contains one of the largest varieties of birds, (Mindo was named 'The most important area for birds in South America' in 1997 by Bird Life International).
