Castelinho38 is a real castle that lies in the heart of Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro's bohemian neighbourhood. The castle was constructed back in 1866, and it's known as an example of eclectic architecture in Rio de Janeiro. It is a spacious house with high ceilings, ample rooms, wooden floor and wide garden, where manga, jaca, guava, lime and banana trees give the green touch to the picture.
Whether from the balconies, the bar, the terrace or the garden, our guests can watch Santa Teresa's inhabitants walking along little streets, in the middle of historical buildings, among hundreds of ateliers, cultural centers, museums and a wide selection of bars cafes and restaurants.
We have nine rooms divided in two floors. The rooms are ensuite.
The comfort is completed with cotton linen, hot shower and fan.
Several hammocks are placed in the terrace for your rest.
ACTIVITIES
Castelinho38 offers a wide range of activities, towards our garden lies the multifunctional room where body and mind activities take place, such as shiatsu massage and acupuncture therapy. The big hall hosts art exhibitions, video projection and business conferences. It can be used as working space, as meeting place having broad band wireless internet connection.
These two wide rooms, along with the bar, the garden and the terrace makes Castelinho 38 a perfect place for meeting interesting people, having parties and enjoying life !!!
