Hostel Sol is located in a house built in 1892. It has been adapted to the needs of a hostel that caters to young travellers, backpackers, students, and all travellers passing by Buenos Aires who wish to live here for a while or even settle down in Buenos Aires.
It has two floors with 25 rooms plus 1 stand-alone mini apartment, and 4 large apartment-suites with balconies overlooking 9 de Julio Avenue.
On the first floor there are 11 functional rooms of 2, 4, and up to 10 beds. They all have their own assigned lockers. There are full shared bathrooms available, and some rooms have their own private bathrooms.
The 4 large apartments are equipped with kitchenette, private bathroom, Cable TV, fridge, and have a balcony overlooking 9 de Julio Avenue.
Most of the rooms surround the patio, a wonderful common area with tables, and chairs, plants, life, and soul.
The big marble fire-place in our living room has been in existence since 1892, this room is warm, comfortable and cosy; equipped with cable-TV, Internet Access, armchairs and sofas.
