Hostel California is located in the very center of the city (junction of Cara Dusana & Cara Urosa streets), so our guests can see and enjoy the real Belgrade - the places they heard of and the ones they will yet talk about. Most of Belgrade tourist attractions are in a short walking distance from the hostel.

A few blocks away is the Republic Square, the very heart of the city and the most famous universal meeting point for all. It continues onto Knez Mihailova Street, the major shopping and banking area, elegantly placed within old-time architecture walls, with charming book-shops, art-galleries, and cafés.

Town's main park and several ancient orthodox churches are very close, as well as the National Museum, National Theater and other cultural sites.
Just under the big Belgrade ZOO, and a minute walk from the meeting point of Sava and Danube Rivers.

California is situated between the riverbank, well-known for its floating restaurants, and Belgrade's famous gastronomic center (picturesque bohemian quarter - Skadarlija). Mega-market 'Maxi Discount' is in the utmost vicinity, as well as several bakeries and smaller shops.
