This is the NEWEST and most CENTRAL hostel in Katoomba also the BEST, only 200m walk from the railway station and right by the entrance road into Katoomba.

Opened in January 2005 it is a very spacious and CLEAN hostel with a magnificent entrance way with an elegant chandelier and grand staircase. There is also a huge lounge and dining area, situated around a log fire and pool table with many nice tables and comfortable lounge suites.. You can choose from single, double, twin or triple rooms along with dorms and family rooms. Special facilities exist for school & other groups. The building is centrally heated(June to September), so it is very warm and cosy in winter. We have one of the best kitchens of any hostel in NSW, with ample fridge and storage space; along with 2 commercial stoves and ovens with microwaves, toasters etc. Excellent facilities to cook yourself a roast.

Bedrooms are clean and comfortable and the private rooms all have their own TV's. Tea and Coffee making facilities available to all guests in common room. Brand new showers and bathrooms have been built , no other hostel in NSW has better facilities. Seeing is believing.

There is plenty to do at our hostel. We have a pool-table, table-soccer, board games or you can simply relax on one of our comfortable sofas. Books, Board games are available at reception. We also have 2 quiet, indoor reading areas with comfy sofas.
A large screen satellite TV room is also available, ideal to watch films and all sporting events.

Outside is a wonderful deck terrace with tables and chairs, BBQ, and a shady, covered area. Coin operated laundry and washing machines available for guest use as well as a free dryer and an ironing board.

Lockers and storage room for backpacks are available. A safe bike rack is also available.
Off street car parking and a bus parking zone exists at our hostel.
Plenty of information and suggested walking treks available, from our information boards, we can also advise about day trips to Jenolan caves, tours and mountain adventure activities.

WE ARE ONLY OPEN ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS FROM JULY TO OCTOBER AND DURING WYD08 WEEK.
