Welcome to The Art Farm Hostel located in the higher southern part of the Ardeche, overlooking the Col de L'Escrinet offering an excellent opportunity to make a stop and enjoy the superb views of the breathtaking scenery with its mountains, lakes, grottos, waterfalls and a rich cultural heritage…if you're looking for that then you've come to the right place.• The Art Farm Group is a new ecovillage type community with many courses taking place in natural building techniques, Lime mortars, Dry stone walling and Permaculture Design.• We also offer hostel accomodation consisting of separate male/female dormitories and use of the communal kitchen. The Art Farm Dormitory is equipped for backpackers during the Spring and summer months. Internet cafe on site. Pick ups from Aubenas and Privas with prior notice. Trips to the Ardeche Gorges can be arranged. Shared dorms. No minimum or maximum stay. The Art Farm holds Permaculture Courses with Eco green building workshops during summer.• The Ardeche is a region that is most famous for its gorges. The impressive limestone canyon stretches out for over 30 kilometers and offers an altering view of steep rock walls covered on the top with green trees and disappearing at the bottom in the winding river with its rapids.
