Yougendo is a traditional Japanese house of the type that is rapidly disappearing from Japan. Made entirely from natural materials, and constructed without the use of nails or metal, we offer the rare experience of staying in a living, breathing organic structure. We offer a very high standard of accommodation in a huge house of 100 years of age set in it's own large private grounds. If you want to experience the real side of Japan then this place is everything that springs to mind about a Japanese house.

PRIVATE ROOMS with enclosed gardens set in private grounds. Rates include 5,500 JPY per person based on 2 persons sharing a traditional TATAMI MAT ROOM (futon mattress) or western style TWIN BED ROOM or BUNK BED ROOM including breakfasts.

Our cancellation policy permits cancellation of your reservation up to 72 hours prior to arrival date without any penalties. A cancellation with less than 72 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to one night's stay.

Due to our intimate size all cancellations are significant to us. Therefore, 'No Show' reservations and cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the entire reserved stay. Refunds for late arrivals or early departures will not be given.
