Newen Kara Hostel means urban force in Mapudungun, language of Mapuche, a contemporary and native culture of south Chile.

For us is very important to get the turist closer to the geography and culture of Chile. That´s why we rescue the local urban culture, the surrounding areas of Santiago and other corners of our country.

The hostel is located 300 mts. south from Manuel Montt subway station, in Providencia area. A safe, emergent and cosmopolitan central area of Santiago. Situated a block away from the main street, Providencia, you can find the best restaurants, bars, libraries, parks, money exchange and a lot of comercial services.

Our house built in 1934, was full remodelated for your security and confort. Its made principally by native woods and mud. Also is very lightly and roomy. We have diferent kind of ambients where you can rest, watch tv, work, drink a beer in the terrace or make a BBQ in the beautifull, big and green garden.

We count with 7 diferent bedrooms, shared and private, where 6 of them have private bathrooms. The shared rooms have individual lockers. All rooms rates include breakfast, linen and taxes.

Other free services of the hostel are:
guest kitchen, internet access and Wi-Fi, parking, tv cable, safe box, 24 hours hot water and tourist information.

Also we have some extra pay services like:
taxi, trasnfer, laundry, rent towels, and sales of drinks.
