Blacksmiths Beach House is brand new and the only backpackers in the Lake Macquarie region. We are situated in a coastal village and are located at the entrance to Lake Macquarie.
The Beach House is unique & intimate sleeping up to 26 people in various style rooms with a large common area. Our facilities also include full kitchen and laundry, outdoor entertaining area with BBQ and a cosy garden with fresh herbs growing for your use. Indoors we have a wide screen TV with FOXTEL, table tennis and assorted other games. We also have a comfy lounge area for relaxing and writing out those postcards or sending e-mails on the internet.

Come & relax in the village atmosphere of Blacksmiths, meet the locals at the pubs.

We are a short walk to Blacksmiths Beach which is a surf beach and fully patrolled. We have an abundance of activities on offer in the area including learn to surf, learn to kiteboard, scuba diving (introductory or certified), swimming (lake or beach), fishing (deep sea or lake), bike riding, bushwalking, whale/dolphin watching, golf by the beach, wine tasting in the Hunter Valley vineyards and much more.
