North Charleston is known as the transportation and business center for the lower half of the State of South Carolina. One of the main attractions of this city is the 14,000-seat coliseum, home
of the local ice hockey team, the Stingrays and a 2,250-seat Performing Arts Center, which are housed in the Charleston Area Convention Center Complex.
