As a branch of East Morning Sun Youth Hostel, the Temple of Heaven International Youth Hostel has the convenient location with enjoyable surroundings, good facilities with budget price, as well as great services with wonderful tours' arrangement...

Surrounded by three parks, the Temple of Heaven, the Longtan Lake Park and the Beijing Amusement Park, the hostel is located by the side of the Second Ring Road in the south of Beijing with Bianyifan Roast Duck Restaurant and other Chinese restaurants near by. In the meanwhile, it is also easy to find supermarkets, stores, banks and post offices in the neighborhood. Behind the noisy street, a lovely garden is in the front of the hostel, where you can relax in the fresh air and feel the comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. It is only 5 minutes walking distance to the Temple of Heaven where Emperors worshiped their ancestors in the ancient time. Today many people practice Taiji (Shadowing boxing) there in the early morning, and you will probably get a chance to learn a bit. Not far away from the hostel, Longtan Park is free to get in and a fantastic place to have a picnic by the side of the lake, you can share your traveling experiences with friends...

There are a lot of buses available to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Liulichang Culture Street, as well as the Qianmen bus & subway center. What's more, it is easy to take a bus to:
1. The Pearl Market----- you can buy something for your families, friends.
2. The Silk Market------ same as the Hongqiao Market (Pearl Market in Chinese) where you can find something with cheaper prices.
3. Panjiayuan Antique Market-----you can find Chinese antiques, paintings, calligraphies and some other souvenirs...
4. Wangfujing Street-----the famous shopping street with malls; the well known Night Market, where there are various traditional Chinese food and enjoy yourself.
If you are bored taking buses to these places, just get a bike from our hostel since they are all reachable by bike.
