Hallo everyone, my name is Sven and I own a cosy, small, comfortable backpacker lodge in Tableview, Cape Town. I am a complete surf nut and have been surfing for over 25 years. Everyday I will be heading out to the best beach's and waves. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, the States, Australia, Namibia, Bali and of course around South Africa. I still think Cape Town is the best place on earth and I would be really stoked to show you and for you to experience my city. I speak English, fluent German, Afrikaans and understand Swiss German, but most of the time I speak a lot of nonsense.

The hostel is situated less than 1 km away from the beach and within easy walking distance of the hub of Tableview where you can hang out in the bars, clubs and restaurants and share your surf story's with the locals. It's also within easy walking distance from surf shops, windsurf and kiteboard shops, cinemas and shopping centres. Tableview is only 15 minutes drive from the city centre and is the windsurf, kiteboard and surf centre of the city.

Wherever in Cape Town the best wind and waves are, we will find them. Cape Town has a coastline which faces in every direction so there is always something happening. It also would give you the chance to see a lot of Cape Town, the beach's and many beach's the locals don't even know about. We will equip you with a board, a wetsuit, come into the water with you and teach you my religion, surfing. For our windsurfer and kiteboarder friends we can also transport you to the beach and arrange equipment.

On the rare days where the waves and wind do not cooperate there are many other activities such as hiking, shopping, sightseeing etc. to fill your day. Other tours can also be arranged such as wine tours, township tours etc. Whatever activity or tour you would like to do, we can arrange it.

The lodge is small with 2 rooms for couples, sharing a bathroom. 3 large bunk rooms with 3 bathrooms to share. The maximum we have per room is 4 people as we strongly believe that we want you to be comfortable and after a hard days surfing and partying you need a good, undisturbed rest.

Facilities include free internet, pool, free linen and towels, safe storage, laundry, lounge with TV satellite reception, communal kitchen, outside entertainment area with bar and bbq.

The price per person includes all transport to and from the beach's.
