Tenby is one of those old fashion beach resorts. There is a lot of glitter and glamour here, but it is all done in a rather stylish way. Although it is mostly popular with retired people, there are quite a few activities for the young as well. In summer the town is really crowded and it is wise to book ahead.

The city goes back to the 9-th century and because of the strategic importance many castles where built in the area. Little England beyoun Wales, as the area south of the Landsker Line is known has 16 big castles alone.

Tenby is an excellent base for doing some wlaks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
