International Youth Hostel Kiev is situated in the downtown Kiev, English-speaking reception from 9 a.m to 9 p.m. 20 min. walk to the Saint Sofia Cathedral and Independence square, and 10 minute walk to 'Lukyanivska' metro station ('green' line). The Hostel is located in a 9-storey building situated very close to - Pokrovskiy Monastery.


You can get to Maidan Nezalezhnosti and Podil by public transport within 10 minutes.

Due to unplanned repair works the Kiev municipal authorities unexpectedly switched off the hot water support to the hostel until 29th of July, sorry for inconveniences this is not our fault, you can book our other hostels located nearby: hostel Yaroslav, hostel Tatarka, hostel Golden Gate, hostel TIU Kiev backpackers.
PLEASE NOTE: in private rooms the bathroom and toilet IS SHARED for two rooms in the block ! Please look at Picture # 4 for the layout of rooms !!! If you need a room with completely private shower, please book our Hostel Olympic.
Please note also that in the period between July 17 and July 31, 2007, due to municipality construction works, there might be no hot water in the hostel for some periods. Sorry for inconvenience, this is out of our control. If the hot water is crucial for you you can stay in hostel Yaroslav or Olympic. instead.
