The yurts are situated in 'Cortijo Las Amapolas' 5 min drive out of the spa town of Lanjaron on a 5000 sqm of olive and almond terraces. Nestling in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with spectacular views. It provides a tranquil retreat in an area of outstanding beauty. Built in 2005, using environment friendly materials and lots of love. It provides a special living space with lots of light and spaciousness. Our Cortijo is self sufficient. Water is supplied from our own well, while electricity and hot water are generated by solar power. Our yurts are unique for their ecological architecture and natural blend within the olive terraces.

conditions: Bedrooms: The Big yurt - Beautiful 7m diameter round structure with wooden floor and canvas. South terrace with mountain view. Inside it has a twin bed sofa that can be opened up at night and a mattress for additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer and a comprehensive selection of cooking utensils, cutlery and glasses. Living Rooms: Living room is adjacent to the kitchen which has a fireplace, dining table, double sofa bed, hi-Fi radio with tape and CD player. The Small yurt is a 5m diameter with a tweem bed sofa. Bathrooms: Outdoors compost loo 15 meters away from yurt. Outdoors shower equipped with solar system to heat the water.
