Excellent combination with the public transport to the city center. The Ferrocarriles Catalanes (subway) will take you with only 3 stops (= 5 minutes) to the city center.
If you prefer, just 100 m from the apartment you can get the bus number 58 which will give you a scenic tour of Barcelona and take you to the city heart in a few minutes.
The reception and check-in to our apartment is located in our B&B 'Petit Hotel ' which is situated on the first floor of a building. The exact address of the reception is the street Laforja 67 1º 2ª (= 1st floor, 2nd door).
We tell you how to arrive to our reception:
ARRIVING FROM THE AIRPORT:
Every 30 minutes a train leaves directly from the airport to the Plaza Catalunya (city centre). Every 15 minutes an AEROBUS leaves from the airport to the Plaza Catalunya (city centre).
Once you arrive to Plaza Catalunya, you must enter the Ferrocariles Catalanes station located outside of the famous Café Zurich. This underground train will lead you with only 3 direct stops to Muntaner station, where you will get off. After about 2 minutes walking down the street Muntaner you will cross with our street Laforja (= reception address).
ARRIVING FROM THE RAILWAY STATION "ESTACIÓN DE SANTS":
From Sants station take Metro line 5 to Diagonal station. Then change to the Ferrocarriles Catalanes (the other underground system) and get off on Muntaner station. After about 2 minutes walking down the street Muntaner you will cross with our street Laforja (= reception address).
ARRIVING FROM THE RAILWAY STATION "ESTACIÓN DE FRANCIA":
Take bus 64, situated just a few steps from the FRANCIA station, and get off at the bus stop Aribau-Laforja. Walk through the street Laforja about 100 m and you will find our reception's address Laforja 67.
TAXI :
A taxi from the airport to our reception can cost about 25 Euros.
A taxi from the city center (Plaza Catalunya) to our reception can cost about 7 Euros.
