Cosy cottage in very scenic village with private, shared & ensuite bedrooms. A real 'home from home' hostel with open log fire & very friendly, intimate atmosphere.

There is a well equipped kitchen, lounge area with sofas, cd palyer, tv, video & dvd player. Musical instruments are available are available to play and there is a BBQ in the garden.

Located in one of Scotland's 'prttiest & most scenic villages' in Highland Perthshire within the Trossachs National Park, at the west end on beautiful Loch Tay. Perthshire's highest mountain Ben Lawers is very nearby as are many other excellent Munros. It is a hillwalkers' paradise and an excellent cycling location too. Situated right by the gentle River Lochay & Loch Tay this a wonderful place for safe, easy flat water canoeing & kayaking.

Bikes, canoes & kayaks are all available to rent from the hostel and guided tours of the area are also available.

Braveheart Backpackers is a great place to chill or be active in a fabulous location within the National Park. There is so much to see & do in the area which has many ancient castles, stone circles, early Celtic, Christian & Druidic sacred sites, Scotland's oldest & tallest trees & whisky distilleries. This is a truly magical location...even J K Rowling lives nearby!!
