The Glasgow School of Art student residence, Margaret Macdonald House, is situated in the shopping heart of Glasgow and conveniently placed for transport links. It is only a short walk from Glasgow's famous Sauchiehall Street, boasting a wealth of shops, pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants, coffee shops, casinos, theatres and cinemas.

Margaret Macdonald House offers exceptional value for money and provides an excellent base for sightseeing and visits to museums and galleries, an obvious choice for families, individuals or groups exploring Glasgow - Scotland with Style - and further afield. The accommodation which we offer is self-cater apartments with lounge/kitchen facilities stocked with equipment to enable guests to prepare light meals. The apartments accommodate up to 8 guests in single or 2 bed (lockable) rooms with shower/toilet facilities shared between two guests (or private bathroom). Rooms can be booked individually or as a group.

Onsite facilities also include a laundry room, free car park, and picnic tables. There is also a designated Barbecue area and outdoor games available.
