Carbost is a tiny village, lying almost under the Coolin. It has two huge points of appeal.
The first is the large beach, especially good to explore at low tide.
The second is the distillery where Talisker whisky originates. This is a very peaty whisky and comes in various strengths and ages. Tours can be arranged which, neddless to say, end with a drink.
