There are buses, trolleybuses and minibuses in Vilnius. Buses and trolleybuses go from 4am till midnight. Minibuses can be stopped anywhere, in order to get of you should ask the driver.
Tickets can be bought at all press kiosks or from the driver.
A minibus trip costs 0.45EUR.
Bus/trolleybus- Single ticket-0.30EUR.
(When bought in the bus or trolleybus, a single ticket costs- 0.35 EUR)
Bus station:
Bus and train station are close to each other. There you can buy tickets for national and international buses and trains. The modern buildings offer you everything you need for the trip. both food and presents. 10minutes before a bus leaves tickets are no longer sold. You can buy them from the driver.
From airport to hotel (it takes 20 minutes):
You can get bus Nr 2 and get off on the Shevchenkos bus stop and then walk 5 minutes to the hotel.
Taxi from airpot to hotel cost about 5 EUR.
From bus/train station to hotel you can get by trolleybus Nr 16. Get off on the 'Sparta' trolleybus stop, cross the street and go by bus Nr2 on the 'Sparta' bus stop. Then get off on the Sevchenkos bus stop and walk to the hotel about 300 meters. If you prefer to take a taxi, it will cost about 3 EUR.
