Really different from a usual hostel and designed for those that don't like crowded places or accommodations like barracks. This discreet, smart new hostel is at the most central location in Florence, beside the Duomo on the start of the street that leads to the Museum dell'Accademia (Academy Gallery where Michelangelo's David is housed). The hostel is on the first floor of the 17th Century palace that was the true residence of 'barone' Ricasoli and from here it's possible to reach any interesting venue or tourist location in Florence with a short walk.

Rooms
Cheap accommodation in Florence shouldn't compromise on comfort. The city is a busy and hectic place so it's important for us at Academy Hostels to do as much as possible to ensure our guests can get a comfortable night sleep. You will find the Academy Hostels amazingly quiet for being located in the center of Florence but at the same time, for the ones who want to enjoy Florence nightlife, you will find restaurants,bars, clubs and the best spots in town within a few minutes walking distance.

The Academy Hostels is a rather small Hostel and can welcome 24 guests. Our well-maintained dormitory rooms with just 3 to 6 beds (no bunk beds) makes a very familiar and friendly environment.
All rooms are air conditioned and have lockers for your valuables. WiFi connection, free usage of computers in the lobby and all bed linen is provided free of charge.
Here you will find a comfortable furniture lobby with a LCD wide screen TV for the ones that want a little relaxation and to meet people from all over the world.

conditions: Check-In / Check-Out -Check-In is between 2pm to 12pm, no early Check-In before 2pm. You can use lounge and store your luggage until your check-In with no additional charge. At the moment of your check in you will receive a kit with clean linens, towels, a lamp, padlock and keys. (If you are going to be late, please advise us or your reservation could be cancelled) We require valid passport for all guests from outside the European community upon check-In. (Id-card for European countries) -Check-Out is strictly by 11am. You can use lounge and store your luggage until 8pm with no additional charge. Bring your lamp, padlock and keys, so you can receive your deposit back. Rules -For your protection and for the protection of fellow travelers, no guests are permitted in the hostel facilities. -No food is allowed in the rooms and it is forbidden to bring any food or drinks from outside. -Our facilities are all NO SMOKING, except on terrace -Common areas are open from 7am to Midnight. -Please refrain from making loud noise -Keep your valuables on your person or leave them to us and we can assure them in our safe. -Common areas and rooms must be left as they were found. -No curfew before 3am
