Situated in the heart of a typical Sicilian village, among a mediaeval castle, a XIX century church with an amazing dome, a XVI century square and just few miles from the Valley of the Temples, Villabelmonte is a modern-run Bed and Breakfast offering relaxing stopovers in a family-like atmosphere.

The building of the Bed & Breakfast dates back the early XX century, it was restored in 2004 and furnished with modern pieces. All the rooms have got private bathroom and a balcony. On the second floor there is a large terrace, the perfect place for a sunbath in the morning or a glass of good Italian wine in the night. Each of the 4 rooms are individually air-conditioned, radio, hair-dryer, TV and WI-FI Internet access facilities.
All rates are inclusive of breakfast, daily cleaning, bath and bed clothes, soap, shampoo and all taxes. In a common space, a tourist library, with books in several languages, is available for guests.

Favara has more than 25,000 citizens and its artistic heritage is made up by several beautiful churches: Itria del Carmine, the Chiesa Madre (with an amazing dome and a precious XVI century wooden crucifix) and the Rosario church, built in 17th century.
Among these treasures you will find Villa Belmonte Bed & Breakfast, exactly by the main square of the town, Piazza Cavour. Here there is also a mediaeval castle built in 1270 by the Emperor Federico Chiaramonte.
Favara is home to the 'Easter Lamb' (Agnello Pasquale), a typical sweet made of almonds and pistachios. A traditional feast is dedicated to it during the Easter week.
Favara is far from the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento about 8 kilometres (5 miles). Other interesting places to visit are Naro, Racalmuto, Maccalube, Scala dei Turchi.
