1. Ferihegy Airport - Airport Shuttle. 8 seats 'Airport Minibus' Service takes you directly to GH for HUF2300(EUR10)/40 min. If you are traveling more than one people, buy a one way only ticket, since it will be cheaper and more quick taking back a taxi to the airport. - Public Transportation. Cost you HUF270*2 (4EUR)/60min. Tickets are available at the newspaper desk at the airport for HUF 270 one way. (Be sure to buy two tickets). LOCAL big blue REPTERBUSZ(Airport Bus) from the airport until its last stop. Bus stop at Terminal 1: walk 100m left next to the airport building towards the busy highway. Bus stop is on the site of the airport. Terminal 2. Just go outside of the building, the stop is almost in front of you little bit on your right. The bus will bring you to the BLUE Line/M3 METRO. Use your second ticket at the entrance of the Metro. From the Kobanya-Kispest metro station, ride until the FERENCIEK TERE Station. Come up from the metro on the left-hand side. On your left you will see a Catholic church, left of the church is the busy Kossuth L. utca (street). Walk along Kossuth L. st for 100m/300feet until the first street, which is Szep st. You will find GH at the end of Szep utca, on the right side after the Internet Café. Doorbell is on the wall just left from the entrance. Doorbell is on the wall just left from the entrance. Push No. 10 at the doorbell. Come up on the stairs strait into the courtyard. Ginkgo's entrance is on the left site, where we will warmly welcome you.Warning! Always have a valid ticket, since it is controlled in Budapest very often, especially on the metro lines! Fine is 5000Huf/20Euro. -Taxi. From the airport take Zona Taxi with a flat rate of Huf4100. Tax is waiting in front of the airport building. Otherwise Taxi service is only reliable in Budapest if you book by telephone. Be sure to confirm the price before starting your ride. 2. Train Stations KELETI or DELI Station take the RED line metro (M2) to ASTORIA. At Keleti a new metro line is under construction, so metro exit is changed each month, so just look for M2 sing and find the entrance most probably left from the train station. After stepping out of the metro at Astoria, take the escalator. You will be in an underground plaza, not yet at street level. Walk strait until you can. From here there are two stairs on your right. Take the one which is more left- sign says Kossuth L. utca/st. Keep walking strait on Kossuth L. st. Astoria Hotel will be on your left on the opposite site. The second street on your left will be Szep st, at the second street light. Cross Kossut st. at the second street light, and walk on the right site of Szep st. You will find GH at the end of Szep st, just after the Internet Café. Doorbell is on the wall left from the entrance. Push No. 10 at the doorbell. Come up on the stairs strait into the courtyard. Ginkgo's entrance is on the left site. -NYUGATI Station take the blue line metro (M3) until FERENCIEK TERE. Come up from the metro on the left-hand side. To your left you will see a Catholic church, to the left of the church is the busy Kossuth L. utca. Walk along Kossuth L. utca for 100m/300feet until the first street, which is Szep utca. Avoid taxis just waiting for you in front of the train stations under all conditions. 3. From Bus terminals -Bus terminals are next to metro stations. Look for line M2 or M3 and see the Train Station section above for further details. 4. By car Szep stis a one way street, entering from Realtanoda utca/st is possible. Keep in mind though that there is no free parking in the city center, however in 10 minutes walking distance we can recommend you parking for free zone. One day parking in downtown cost you ap. 15Euro. Write us for further details. 5. Arriving late night Budapest has a fairly good night bus service. Instead of M2 metro line look for 907 or 973 Bus, the stop is infront of Keleti Station on the surface. Instead of M3 line 914 or 950. Both cases make it sure to choose the right direction to ASTORIA station-. If you are there read instruction mentioned at section . WARNING! Money changing rates at the train stations- especially at KELETI- are at least 20% worst for you than in the city center.
