Downtown Oasis is a small, homey and charming place in the very center of buzzing historic downtown, perfectly located on the dividing line between the the Vaci street - Fashion street all-pedestrian area by the river, and the nightlife/entertainment quarter packed with trendy pubs, clubs, cafes, shops of all kinds, restaurants and cheap eateries.

We are 3 minutes walk away from blue, yellow and red metro line stops, night buses, and trams to the Buda side - providing an ideal base for exploring Budapest's rich past as well as its vibrant multicultural present.

The property is situated on the top floor of a historic building, with its balconies looking onto the Great Synagogue, a curving avenue of classic historic buildings, and the Buda hills. Staying here you can not only see Budapest's history, but you can live in it for a while!

Our hostel is a small and homey apartment-like place with only a few rooms and a limited number of guests, where you can really feel at home! If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of big hostels, we might be the right choice for you...
