From Ferihegy airport:
- Take the airport bus, number 200 to Kobanya - Kispest, then metro (blue line) to Deák tér and change to red line, getting off at Blaha Lujza tér. You need to validate a ticket on each vehicle, at the start of your journey
Taxi costs 4000 HUF if you call the company by phone, beware to take a cab from the entrance, it can be much more expensive.
From Nyugati railway station:
- Take tram 4 or 6 and get off at Blaha square. (4th stop)
If you prefer to make the distance by foot, just keep walking to the left on the main street until the first underpass (cca 25 minutes). Cross Rákóczi street and ring the doorbell.
By taxi the charge is ap.1000 HUF.
From Keleti railway station:
- Take bus 7 or metro (red line) to Blaha Lujza square, its one stop. By walk it takes 10 minutes, follow the Rakoczi street.
It is only 10 minutes by walk, if you do not mind the high traffic on Rákóczi street. Just straight from the station, running through horning carc, or (recommended) finding you way in the underpass-maze. Keep walking on the left until 'Blaha Lujza tér', turn left, first door on the left.
Taxi costs ap. 1000 HUF
The building is on the corner of József körút and Rákóczi út, with a 'Stella Artois' sign on the top. There is a pharmacy downstairs.
If you're arriving by train please be prepared to meet some hustlers at the railway stations (and on the trains from Vienna). They work for a few big hostels; usually they assure you, that small guest houses like ours are very bad, or do not even exist.
