Arriving by boat at port of Souda 5km from Hania Town and there are buses approximately every fifteen minutes which will run you to the Market Place.
The bus station is on Kydonias Street and there are buses every 30 minutes which will run you to Platanias. Ask for a bus stop to Platanias Post Office. (First bus stop into Platanias) . We are 100m before the Post Office.
If you've arrived with a tour group at the airport you might be able to hitch a lift in their coach, otherwise there are plenty of taxis. Official prices to most popular destinations are listed. There are public busses from the airport to Hania bus station.
