The Art-Fabrik Hotel was built up only a few years ago from the historical and land marked house of the family Friedrich Engels, patronized by the Bethe foundation.

Our 140 rooms are all very spacious and comfortably equipped. Sixteen of these rooms feature sauna and 30 are categorized as studios, each individually designed by different painters or sculptors. This hotel is an exceptional venue in Europe offering a variety of artworks. We provide 12 conference rooms with capacity for up to 650 people.

Let yourself be spoiled with culinary specialities in the special atmosphere of our elegant restaurant, listening to the sounds of piano music. Experience the perfect symbiosis of music and art, visible in the furniture with its many exclusive creations of famous artists.
