It is so centrally located that all of London's attractions are really accessible. We promise a fun experience in a relaxed and comfortable environment. The Travel Joy concept is all about the joy of travel. We pride ourselves in having a very professional and well run hostel which is indeed a pleasure to stay in. There is a Thai restaurant on the premises which provides delicious Asian and English cuisine.
On our doorstep is the no.24 bus which starts and terminates at Travel Joy. This bus can bring you to the city centre and all famous tourist attractions every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day.
We have a wide selection of dorms. Great care has been taken in furnishing our rooms so that every traveller can have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We offer top quality bunks and secure storage facilities.
Guests can enjoy SUPER fast and new Internet/Wi-Fi access which provides internet and Skype calls while relaxing in our lounge or having a drink with new friends at our bar. A FREE continental breakfast, served in the dining room, is all included.
Our large bar/lounge is a great place to meet new friends from the four corners of the globe. You will get a traditional English feel once you enter our bar combined with international guests which gives Travel Joy something different and special to offer. Both Lounge and bar are equipped with large flat screen TV's, so you can just kick back and relax after a large day touring and sightseeing.
When you are going out (and we are sure you will) take the tube from Pimlico (Victoria Line) tube station which is only 5 minutes away or avail of the number 24 bus which leaves from our door every 10 minutes passing along the river along the way and after 15 minutes you will arrive in the world famous West End and Leister Square. Here you will find as many clubs/bars/restaurants/shops and lots more than you will ever need. This bus runs TWENTY FOUR hours a day EVERY day!!
Our delightful old building gives you the opportunity to sleep in a bit of history of London. We are overlooking the River Thames and the massively iconic Battersea Power Station is right in front of us so you can see a bit of history no matter where you are in our building. We offer beautiful balconies which over look the water and they are extremely popular with our guests to chill out or to let their hair down as the London sky lights up at night. Our building offers all modern facilities and guests can feel very safe and comfortable and ALL our staff are very conscientious pride themselves in this. We provide comfortable, clean, secure accommodation to all budget travellers.
Our check-in time is from 2pm to 11pm. If you are early you can leave your luggage at reception and we will put your bags away in our luggage storage area. Check-out is 11am with breakfast from 8.30 am - 11am.
