Its' location makes our hostel ideal for both guests who are visiting London for the first time or those of you who are returning for the 'whirlwind' again.
With the extremely convenient location it's perfect if you want to visit the world famous 'Oval' Sports Ground, the world renowned 'West-end', Buckingham Palace, LONDON BRIDGE or any of the other brilliant experiences London has to offer.
You may think staying in a hostel is the same everywhere but the Journeys Elephant & Castle team will provide you with a stay that will leave you raving to your friends. Our rooms have unique features including lighting that means if guests return late (which let's be honest that is one of the main reasons for staying and partying in hostels) they don't wake up everyone by turning the main light on. Also every room has its own separate locker available as well as warm & very comfy beds!!!
So you can make the most out of your stay whilst ensuring your hard earned money goes further, we have a fully equipped guest kitchen, dining room, brand new shower and toilet facilities and finally (most importantly), to cap it off, value priced drinks in our bar (opening 11th June 2007). Finally, to make sure your day gets off to a brilliant start, we include a continental breakfast for every guest.

You do not have to be a member of any organisation to stay at Journeys however, we do require that some form of valid photo identification is presented upon check in, preferably a Passport, I.D. card or driving license. Check Out
Check out is at 11am and guests must hand all security cards back to reception. Age Restriction
Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings from any persons under the age of 18.
conditions: 1. Arrivals and Departures New arrivals can check into their rooms after 2pm each day. Guests may arrive earlier and leave their luggage at the hostel but access to rooms will not be granted until after 2pm. Departing guests must remove all their belongings from their room, and check out, before 11am. After this time guests may make use of the luggage storage facilities but all possessions must be removed from the room and the security card handed back to reception. 2. Smoking Smoking is not permitted anywhere within Journeys Hostel Building. Any guest found smoking within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund. 6. Door security Cards Upon check in guests will receive a security card for access to both the hostel and their room. These cards are activated for the period of stay only and must be handed back to reception on check out. Failure to return the card will result in a £8.00 charge which may be charged against the customer's credit card.
