
Bouillon is located in the Belgian Ardennes. The main claim to fame of the town is that is was here that in the 11th century, Duke Godefried of Bouillon started the Crusades that would end in the fall of Jerusalem. The castle still stands proud, draw bridges and all.
The town is very pretty and the surroundings are extremely beautiful and excellent for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or canoeing.
