Alegria´s Hostel is a beautiful new hostel B&B located in La Candelaria, the main historical, cultural, political and tourist area of Bogota. It is only five blocks away from the Presidential Palace, and surrounded by museums, restaurants of all kinds, bars and clubs. And there are three universities nearby, so there is always plenty of nightlife thanks to the friendly young locals.

La Candelaria has kept all the mystery and magic of the XIX century, with original colonial architecture, charming colourful streets and a very nice atmosphere.

Alegria, the owner of the hostel, is also a traveler and loves to share her home town of Bogota with the world. The place feels more like a home than a hostel with its friendly personal atmosphere, and is an excellent base for discovering Bogota. It covers all your needs as a traveler and it is the perfect place to meet other people for exploring the city or partying, or for just chilling out in a hammock in the sun.
