Tucked between the two oldest streets in the medieval city of Sibiu, Felinarul hostel is the sweetest hostel in town. Owned and run by an Irish/Romanian couple, the hostel is friendly and welcoming. The owners have learnt from their travels and from their friend's travels, what makes a good hostel. We will give you the real load down on Sibiu, share our favorite haunts with you, and steer you away from the tourist traps. Hang out in our common room decorated with hand painted Transylvanian furniture, read books or play chess in our cute chill out zone, shower in our modern showers, drink a glass of wine or a beer in our private courtyard and sleep soundly in our comfortable beds. Enjoy a chat with us over a free tea or coffee in the mornings. We are a cute and intimate boutique style hostel with only 14 beds. One room has eight beds while the other has six. Soon we will have another smaller room with fewer beds, a sanctuary for female travelers, traveling alone, or for families. We are a small cottage located on a quiet street, but only a stones throw away (two minutes on foot) from the main square and heart of the old town with its bars, cafes and restaurants. We are also only a two minute walk from the train station; a perfect location.
