Quinta da Capela, is an 18th Century manor house which was totally restored and renovated over the last 20 years. It sits right in the heart of a time forgotten village, Sabugo, 30 minutes from downtown Lisbon and only 15 minutes (12km) from Unesco Heritage Site Sintra. With a view over the Mountain of Sintra (Palacio da Pena), it has its gates through the Chapel Square which is part of the Quinta and the cause for its name. A cosy high ceiling chapel with coir and pulpit stables converted to a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom guest house.

The priests lodgings (2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms) over the former mews cum garages for 3 cars are some of the features of this 1000m2 house. In the courtyard a gazebo roofs a wine cellar and the gardening keepings. The plot has 3.500m2, with lawns, flower gardens, jardin potager, several fruit trees, a main courtyard with parking for 6-9 cars, automatic sprinkling system, 3 wells a swimming pool and a green house by the pool.
