DC Lofty is located on 815 North East 7th Street in Washington DC, only 10 minutes away from magnificent landmark-Union Station/Subway/ Red Line.
Union Station is a city within a city, with tons of shops, movie theaters, tour companies, car rentals and restaurants.
Other easy to reach attractions around us are U.S.Capitol, Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institution with 19 museums (like Museum of Natural History, and Air & Space Museum- one of the most visited museums in the World) and 9 research centers, Supreme Court, one of the kind Gallaudet University, National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Historical Eastern Market and much more!
Just turn left on H Street, and explore vital and edgy Atlas district nightlife with three-block stretch bars district full of contrast. There's no other neighborhood where you'll find sword-swallowing bartenders, cozy neighborhood taverns, hand dancing lessons, live go-go and indie-rock bands a few doors down from sophisticated theater.

If you are arriving before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. you MUST contact us and notify your arrival time. Charge $10 for the arrivals after office hr.
We do not have extra space for your excessive luggage, so please limit your bags.

Policy -
Valid foreign passport or Photo ID required to Check-in.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Checkout time is 11:00 a.m.
Mature, quiet guests are preferred.
We do everything we can do to preserve a tranquil atmosphere in our hostel. If you would like to bring a child with you, please contact us. Children under 18 must be in rooms accompanied by a parent.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children under six or seniors fifty five and over.
Smoking is NOT allowed in the room or in the common areas.
Evidence of smoking in the room or common areas will result in an additional charge of $250 will be billed to cover the additional cleaning for smoking in the room and loss of revenue. Any kind of open flames, including lit cigarettes or burning candles, are not allowed in the room.
No pets are allowed.
Cancellation and Payment Policy -
DC Lofty maintains a strict cancellation policy.
You must notify us at least 3 days prior to departure time (once you have checked in). Any days within 3 days will be subjected to a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellation of the day of Check-in will be charged the full nights stay. Please be courteous and inform us immediately of a cancellation or change in plans.
Upon arrival, full payment will be accepted in cash (USD) or credit cards VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER. We do not accept personal checks.
